ISDM for DB2
ISDM is a unique concept of fully-integrated tools which provide utility generation and automated supervision of the nightly DB2 batch. Integrated: all of these stand-alone tools are designed to work closely together with each other. Supervised: all actions are reported in history files. Dynamic: the system is self-balancing.
ISDM consists of the following products:
- Maintain - Generates utility JCL, which can easily be integrated into the Job Scheduling environment.
- RealTimeMaintain- Allows for dynamic maintenance during online operations.
- BatchControl/Utilities - Supervises the execution of the utility Jobs.
- PiT Recovery - Automatically recovers your ERP or CRM Application to a specific point in time.
- SpaceManager- Lets you quickly pinpoint space problems (which can then be corrected using Maintain).
- BatchControl/SQL - Supervises and reports on the execution of SQL programs.
